Bruce Lee’s real name was Lee Jun-fan. The name means “return again”. It was given to Lee by his mother, who felt he would return to the United States once he came of age. It’s interesting that his mother gave him the name and that it means what it means. The meaning of Bruce Lee’s Cantonese name means a lot to me in hope. I hope that someday soon he will return again, and that I will see him in the after life. If we will see him in the after life, the meaning of his name is what it means. Only then, he will have a new name.
(Rev. 2:17) “He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said to the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knows saving he that receives it.”
I’m not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, and because Christ rose again, I will be looking for Bruce and many others. Bruce Lee may not be known by some of us and some of us do know him. One day everybody is going to know everybody.
